Med says to (14:03:17): I just got my embassy badge today so now I can come and go. While out checking out the compound I found a window with a note stating the Bank of Iraq (Not CBI) will be opening a window or office next to the PX at the Embassy,
also I mentioned before the ATM would give you dollars or NID it was down so I couldn’t withdraw a 100.00$ of NID.
THE REASON HE WAS WANTING TO WITHDRAW…..WAS TO SEE WHAT THE ACTUAL EXCHANGE RATE WAS FOR US
Alot of celabrating in Iraq today around 7 am they started to blow their car horns and it is 1645 and they are still blowing the horns.
Also most of the IP and IA (Iraqie Police and Iraqie Army) are all dressed up for a parade also showing all of their military weapons and force.
