[lojak] forex never actually shuts down…so this would be unprecedented if that was to occur. It only closes at 5 eastern Friday and reopens at 5 pm sunday. [lojak] scroll down on that posting[forex website]–you will see where it says the markets are open 24 hours a day.
bones] showmethemoney Lojak is right, the market never really closes until Friday, to reopen on Sunday. But note the daily schedule for worldwide updates for all markets is notification just before 4 pm EST.

12:47 PM [cashinqueen] [skysthelimit] FYI….Forex; Rollover= Rollover happens every day at 5 pm EST. Brokers shut down their tradings from 4:58 pm until 5:05 pm. They do this in order to rollover the open positions from one day to the next. In the Forex, the interest rates are set daily, so they rollover…
12:55 PM [lojak] you guys dont get all caught up in the market talk–just understand that if…thats a big if, the forex market shuts down that is unprecedented and its all good for us ………………
