But for a couple of months a year I come out of my office and connect with everyone across several cultures. Lots of fun, but also tiring. [Historian] After February, I’ll be happy to dive back into my work. [Historian] amigomiwest This year, the Chinese New Year is early — January 23. The Year of the Dragon. A very significant day and year in the eyes of many with influence. [amigomiwest] Historian .. yes I am not really a party girl myself, however I enjoy gathering with people and food! [Historian] amigomiwest I enjoy chatting with people, and eating all the different food. Some cultures believe very much in doing business, negotations, even just discussing important matters over food. But there are things in the intel and news that are very promising. [Historian] And I think this time of year is very significant. A new year for the western world — great way to start things fresh! [robin_in_ks] Historian i have been reading about lots of people going to form LLC’s post RV … what would the benefit of that option do? [peterq2] Historian new reserve? Other than USD? [Historian] robin_in_ks That would depend on jurisdiction, so really a lawyer needs to answer that one. In some places, corporate taxes are much less than personal taxes. Plus it adds another barrier for asset protection. [robin_in_ks] Historian well we were planning on doing trusts … so that would be safe enough wouldnt you say ? [Historian] peterq2 Yes, the BRICS have not been using the USD as a reserve for some time now. They negotiate rates directly with each other. And now the word is that they are about to switch to a whole new reserve, one backed by gold and assets. [Historian] robin_in_ks I use a combination of trusts and limited companies. So how many are going to stick with fiat money when they can have money backed by gold? IMO, this RV is really much more than the IQD RV; it is likely the mechanism to switch many currencies from a fiat to asset-backed system.
