* Iraq does not trust the reports of transparency international and membership

Twilight news/ spokesman initiative supporting transparency in the oil industry, Thursday, that Iraq tried since 2010 join initiative transparency international petroleum based industries of the United Nations, stating that Iraq still awaits report on whether or not to accept in the light of the criteria established in this organization.

Spokesperson for the initiative to support transparency in oil industries based in Iraq Abbas algalabi that “Iraq joined this Organization since 2010, but must wait until August this year to know if he will accept membership in the light of the criteria established at this level because there are strict criteria against which the Member is accepted.”

Algalabi said that “Iraq issued its report in this regard a month ago, and he wants through harmony with the standards laid down but still tries to not accepted so far.”

And algalabi that “such reports are subject to administrative and financial auditing the accurate, transparent in the light of the specific data and information”.

With regard to the reports issued by transparency international and addressed by Allawi pointed algalabi that “the content of this report is true although the Organization had lacked precise figures because they often draw numbers from abroad and not from the inside.”

The TI had issued its annual report on world corruption index, which covers 180 countries in the world according to ascending scale ranging from zero to 10 degrees, and TI published every year since 1995 as an indicator of corruption based on classification of 180 countries in the world according to the analysis of an international group of business experts and academics.

Algalabi said that “there is a lack of clarity and a clear imbalance in the field of information and disclosure in all fields, in addition to the political and the quarrelings differences are often a barrier to achieving progress in this area.”

Algalabi stressed that “required by the competent authorities granting regulators such as integrity, Office of financial supervision and other freedom of movement and access to information and detect a corruption without any hindrance.”

The report by Transparency International showed that four Arab countries where armed conflicts and internal disturbances and very low grades had occupied Yemen (154) and Iraq (176) and Sudan (176 bis) and Somalia (180), which ranked last among Islamic countries occupied Afghanistan second most centres worse (179), followed by Iran (168), the report noted that States which occupied lower positions, including many commonalities, all systems are fragile, unstable Asia, their effects of wars and conflicts
