All, I've received a mix of mostly "Thank Yous", and some "Complaints", and even a few "Hater" messages regarding my having taken down the "Rumors" and "Doozies" sections from being "FEATURED" on the front page of my site. I'm posting this to announce a compromise regarding this situation, and to share a few thoughts that are at the very root of the problem that caused me to move these information categories off the prominent position on which their information was displayed. As the "HUB of all things Dinar", it's critical for Dinar Daddy's Tidbits to continue to offer ALL information, not just what I would personally deem as being true or news worthy. I've done that by continuing to allow the "Rumors" and "Doozies" sections of my site to remain accessible for everyone by providing hyper-linked TABS at the top of the site that give readers access to each information category. For some reason, many aren't familiar with my site, and don't realize these tabs exist at the top of the site, and that those two sections are STILL on the site, and have NEVER been taken off. Because of this, I'm making a small adjustment so that more people can see they are still here, and can therefore access these sections. I'm placing the section headers (dark blue buttons that are also hyperlinks to each information category) for these two "moved" information categories back into the middle column of the site. They will be placed just below the "Chats & Posts" section links, and just above the "News Articles" section header. I will NOT be placing the links to their posts beneath them however, so you will still need to click on the section header you wish to access, but at least they will be seen there for easier access to those sections if you wish. Again, I am placing those section headers back up so that site readers can know they are STILL here, and have never been taken away. So, going forward, besides being able to access these sections by clicking on the TABS at the top of the site, you can now access them by clicking on the section headers I'm placing back into the middle column titled "Rumors" and "Doozies". I hope this simple change will help many who seem to struggle finding their way around the site and finding all the information shared here. Just so you know, I won't ever again FEATURE on the front page the links to the posts I've placed within these two information categories again, as I simply feel that's "assisting the cause" with information that shouldn't be promoted, but certainly can be referenced. Unfortunately, there are those who have in the past, used my site to gain notoriety, promote their irresponsible agendas, pump false information, and build numbers to their websites. My site won't be used that way ever again, and this is my way of handling it the best I can. It is my opinion, based on the unique perspective I've been given, that there are just too many who are new to investing (let alone investing in a foreign currency) that are unable to understand the consequences of their own impulsive investing actions based on information they obtain from some of the unreliable sources they gain through visiting the various Dinar-following websites. Too many don't understand investing in general, and seem to go against what I continually state... Don't invest more than you can afford to lose or do without for any extended period of time. So, I feel obligated to take these further precautions to ensure I don't add to the hype and potential investor difficulties. Here's what I mean more specifically when discussing investing:
Do NOT invest in ANYTHING with money you need to live on. Do NOT invest in ANYTHING with money you need to pay your basic obligations (i.e. electricity/utility bill, car payment, mortgage payment, family insurance, rent, gasoline for your car, student loan, credit card payments, food for yourself or your family) Do NOT invest in ANYTHING with borrowed money or those types of money sources that would make you go into further debt (i.e. credit card, personal loan, personal line of credit, home line of credit, leveraged money, etc.) Do NOT invest in ANYTHING that you don't have 100% support from your spouse, significant other, and/or business partner. Do NOT invest in ANYTHING that not having access to the funds short-term could have hurtful consequences to another that is dependent on you financially (i.e. spouse, children, business partner, live-in parent or relative, friend, ex-spouse (i.e. child support/alimony) and/or yourself). Do NOT invest in ANYTHING that you firstly don't understand the risks of, benefits from, and potential issues with. Be aware of ALL the possibilities and ramifications your investing could result in (i.e. lose all your money, significant loss, cost you more money, potential gains, etc.). Do NOT invest in ANYTHING based on emotion or hype. Fear of losing out is the WORST kind of investing you can possibly engage in, and is very irresponsible. Those that would make you feel you are missing out if you don't do it RIGHT NOW should be immediately dismissed as anyone you'd want to consult with or receive advice from when making the decision to invest. Do NOT invest in ANYTHING based on a "PROMISE" of a return percentage on your money. There is NEVER a guarantee of gain when investing in ANYTHING, let alone one of the most risky investments in the world. Investing in Iraq is investing in a 3rd world country's currency that is currently on the OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) list for currencies that are not internationally recognized, and who's government is under UN sanctions, and who's government has yet to be officially organized and completed, and who's country is very volatile and unsafe (streets are NOT safe), and in a region/area of the world where violence is a major issue. Do NOT invest in ANYTHING you have a hesitation about. To me, a hesitation in my life means a "NO". Be aware of your true feelings, your financial circumstances, and what you wish to get out of it before you invest in anything. Then move forward with caution, deliberateness, and with your eyes wide open. With all the above said, I want you to know I'm not posting this for anything other than to help you understand my reasons for doing what I've chosen to do here on Dinar Daddy's Tidbits. I'm doing my best to practice what I preach, and to be responsible in how information is disseminated on my website. I still feel you should expose yourself to all information, but not until you know how I feel about that information. The less it's promoted or "FEATURED" the better you'll understand where I'm coming from with all of this. And, just so you know, I did NOT post the above information about investing because I'm sharing some sort of hidden message about the Iraqi Dinar! LOL! Those are basic, common, and important investing rules EVERYONE should follow when investing, not just what applies to this investment.
